Thanks to Noirvember, I found out that Jules Dassin made some marvellous noirs in his time, finally got round to watching some less-known Raymond Chandler screen adaptations (Murder, My Sweet & Lady in the Lake) and feasted my eyes on Orson Welles portraying menacing Georgian criminal.
